With a following of over 598,000, it was just smart business to offer apparel and other branded gear to the fans of I Am Second. In the early years, we offered the basic branded t-shirts and caps. As the movement grew we were able to aquire better product and began developing a targeted marketing approach. We relied on social media as well as email marketing to our lists to get the word out to promote the offers. Researched proved that there was a demand for quality products with the basic signature brand on it. We looked at performance wear, as well as casual business looks, to support the audiences need.
With a quality base product like UnderArmour, we kept the design simple, but bold to enhance the premium workout gear. Email campaigns aligned with the attitude of the product to push sales.
